IMPLEMENTASI METODE PENDIDIKAN LUQMAN AL-HAKIM DALAM STRATEGI PENGELOLAAN KELAS

Abstract
Effective classroom management remains a challenge for Islamic Education (PAI) teachers, especially when dealing with students of diverse characters, varying levels of discipline, and external environments that do not always support moral values. At SD Negeri 08 Tebat Karai, PAI teachers are expected not only to deliver subject matter but also to shape students’ character through approaches that touch their spiritual and emotional dimensions. This study aims to examine the implementation of Luqman Al-Hakim’s educational method in classroom management strategies. Using a qualitative descriptive approach, data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The findings reveal that the PAI teacher applies the principles of monotheism (tauhid), moral conduct (akhlak), patience, exemplary behavior, and reflective communication in teaching interactions. Classroom management strategies include creating rules collaboratively, using persuasive discipline, and modeling ethical behavior. Despite obstacles such as limited time and inconsistent student behavior, this approach fosters a more orderly, humanistic, and spiritually enriched classroom atmosphere. Students show improvements in behavior, cooperation, and learning motivation. Luqman Al-Hakim’s educational values are recommended as a strategic reference for classroom management in Islamic education.
